Matt Williams is the Design Manager,Thread, for Mt Eliza Executive Education, part of Melbourne Business School.
Thread is a highly interactive online tool which uses intuitive capabilities to prioritise the information pushed to the participant, according to that person's learning priorities. In this way, Thread becomes a Learning Ecosystem to support our program participants within their workplace.
Matt is currently on secondment from the Design and Learning Methods team, who assist clients to design robust learning interventions, focussed on organisational outcomes. Prior to this, he worked with the group of educators (our Associate Network) who facilitate our open and customised programs, and sourced new Associates to work with us - local and international educators who provide specialist expertise to executive education client interventions.
Matt returned to Australia in 2007 after 11 years in the United Kingdom, where most recently he co-established and managed an executive search and consultancy firm in the education sector. With a highly consultative approach, his clients included London Local Education Authorities and the New York City Board of Education. Prior to this he held senior roles in Business Development and Global Resourcing for UK based multinational executive search firms.
Client organisations Matt has worked with include BHP Billiton, DMO, AXA Asia Pacific, Origin Energy, SA Health, Red Cross and VicRoads.
Matt is working toward his MSc in Organisation Dynamics at RMIT, and is passionate about new technologies and developing people
